The 2008 Programme

This years ACE-Ashridge Foundation Course will take place on the following dates:

- Module one June 1-4
- Module two September 21-24

Programme objectives
At the end of the ACE-Ashridge Programme the participants will have developed:

• Strategic thinking and operational skills
• Knowledge of the key tools and techniques appropriate for effective management in the sector
• Understanding of the roles and operations of the organisations in the supply chain
• The ability to identify best practice and opportunities to improve the working of their organisation and the supply chain
• Leadership and management skills
• Self-awareness of their strengths and weaknesses
• Interpersonal and team-working skills
• Greater insights into effectively influencing other people
• Learning skills
• The ability to relate current practice with best practice, and knowledge of the latest management thinking to produce improved performance
• The ability to undertake further development when the programme has ended to promote learning

The course has also been popular for its valuable peer networking, and the opportunity to hear top industry speakers.

Course fee
ACE has set the 2008 course fee at £4,750 per delegate.

This includes tuition and full board/accommodation during the residential Ashridge modules.

Note: The course fee includes one extra night at Ashridge in 2008, and an ACE subsidised Presentation Skills course, which was charged as extra in 2007.

The Chairman’s Bursary
ACE is introducing a Chairman’s Bursary in 2008, which can be offered to a maximum of two delegates.This Bursary, which can offer up to 50% of the course fee, is at the discretion of the ACE Chairman.

If you are interested in being considered for this Bursary please apply in writing to the Chairman of ACE stating why you should be considered. Your application should be in no more than 1,000 words.
