The ACE International Circulation & Distributor Awards were held at the extraordinary Dalí Universe exhibition on London’s South Bank last night, December 6. THE JUDGING took place at the offices of Mail Newspapers in mid November, led by ACE Chairman Neil Jagger together with Hello! magazine publishing director Sally Cartwright, and Mark Cashmore from WH Smith News. The ACE International Circulation & Distributor Awards were created to recognise the effort and success achieved by circulation and distribution staff in all aspects of the newspaper and magazine industry associated with overseas sales and activities. The awards relate to activity and achievement outside the entrant’s country base. While other award ceremonies recognise success in editorial and publishing endeavour, this event is especially staged to celebrate excellence and achievements in the circulation arena. The awards were staged at the Dalí Universe, a 3,000 square metre permanent exhibition space dedicated to the Spanish master that shows over 500 works of art, most of which have never been exhibited in the UK. It provided a truly unique backdrop to the awards ceremony.
